1HOLE PAR4 / HDCP 5
Hole characteristicsThis is a start hole overlooking the gentle slope of Wantaek mountain. A player can hit a shop toward horizon and have a fresh start with stable play and elaborate shot.
StrategyThere are no rooms on the right and left side. Hit a shot toward the center of the green. On the second shot, attack the left side since right bunker is risky enough. Undulation on the green is not much. Relaxed and put in a relaxed manner.
2HOLE PAR4 / HDCP 9
Hole characteristicsThe both sides of fairway are surrounded with preserved forest, so it is quite cozy. Since the distance to the green is so short, one on is tempting here. Please be careful of left and right bunkers along with bunkers over the green. Those who yield to the temptation of one on may have to see the number of score go higher.
StrategyOne on is a possible mission, but at a cost. Get a spoon and place a ball before bunker in front of the green and then aim one on. The green is relatively flat, so relaxed putting may bring you unexpected result.
3HOLE PAR4 / HDCP 1
Hole characteristicsThis hole is apparently the no 1. handicap hole in Top’s10 Resort Donggang Cistar Golf Club. This hole gives you a feeling that you are hitting a ball at the top of Bongrae Mountain. It is lovely for a ball to fly across the valley and land safely in fairway. However, be careful with the headwind.
StrategyHit a shot with eyes on the pine tree in front of fairway. Never give any attention to the right view. Try to feel confident and attack the left side. There is a slope behind the green, so over par may be inevitable if second shot and putting are not elaborate enough. Put a ball in an attempt to place it close to a hole cup since there are slopes front and behind of the green.
4HOLE PAR3 / HDCP 4
Hole characteristicsThis hole is rather easy looking since the green seen from teeing ground looks wide. However, there are three ponds around the green, making players hard to play. Accurate shot is needed. Unless, you may face big trouble.
StrategyHit a shot with eyes on the pine tree in front of fairway. Never give any attention to right view. Try to feel confident and attack the left side. There is a slope behind the green, so over par may not be avoided if elaborate second shot and putting fail to follow. Put a ball in an attempt to place it close to a hole cup since there are slopes front and behind of the green.
5HOLE PAR4 / HDCP 6
Hole characteristicsThis is a hole that requires sensitive shot since we cannot see the green. However, views from the fairway would relieve our tensions and present comfort to us. Downhill to the green makes players easy to play and get relaxed. Enjoy Donggang River views for a while.
StrategyPlease calm down. It is just another blind hall. Hit a strong shot toward the center of fairway. Left side of fairway is wider than expected. There is downhill from fairway to green. It may be hard to hit a shot over green. So lighter club would be fine to attack the green. Green is relatively flat, so wish you buddy this time.
6HOLE PAR5 / HDCP 7
Hole characteristicsFairway is the widest. This hole also offers open and wide views along with beauty of Island hole and beach bunker. Shots may be challenge here in this hole.
StrategyHit a shot toward the slightly right side of the left pine tree since there is marsh on the right side. On the second shot, two on is risky due to the hazard and bunker. Rather three on would be more sensible choice aiming bunker in front. The green is relatively small, so elaborate shot is needed. Unless, over par is inevitable.
7HOLE PAR3 / HDCP 8
Hole characteristicsRelatively short hole, but hazard and beach bunker. However, following through green would be short. Worth trying!
StrategyElaborate shot is needed to attack green edge. Green is relatively flat, so light putting will bring good result.
8HOLE PAR5 / HDCP 2
Hole characteristicsThis hole is the longest and fairway is quite wide, but the bunker near at hand might be overwhelming. Leave the hazard aside, hit a ball as you has done.
StrategyHit a driver shot aiming the left bunkers of three. Hit the second shot toward the center of green due to the bunker on the left. Light putting may bring good result since the green is relatively even.
9HOLE PAR4 / HDCP 3
Hole characteristicsThis hole is bordered with preserved forest, which gives comfort to players. It looks difficult since the bunker is on the left side of fairway. The point is, however, the border line with right forest.
StrategyGood for drive shot toward the end line of preserved forest on the right side. Green bunker is quite threatening, but buddy can be expectable since green is relatively even. Hit a ball with eye on the left front of the green.
